AI Agents Cut Threat Investigation Time from Days to Seconds in SOC

Cybersecurity expert @HackingDave shared the transformative impact of agentic workflows in Security Operations Centers (SOCs). Traditionally, even with perfect detection rules, security teams spent significant time distinguishing real threats from false positives.
With agentic workflows, AI can continuously automate analysis supported by evidence, reducing investigation times from hours or days down to seconds or minutes. He noted that while LLM-driven offenses are currently easy to spot, AI is fundamentally transforming defense by enabling evidence-based automated detection.
