Hamel Husain Submits PR to Enhance 'dslop' Anti-AI-Slop Tool

HamelHusain · x · 2026-08-03

Prominent ML engineer Hamel Husain joined the discussion around the open-source tool dslop and submitted a Pull Request for it. dslop is designed to detect and eliminate the "AI slop" style from LLM outputs.

Husain praised the tool's approach of programmatically checking for mechanical text patterns, noting it is much faster than using an Agent. In his own fork, he expanded the rules by adding more mechanical checks based on "plain-writing guides" to strictly control AI output style.
