Technology reshapes expertise. As AI takes over routine work, human value shifts towards judgment, creativity, leadership, and the ability to evaluate AI outputs. AI literacy should therefore teach people how to grow alongside AI, preserving the cognitive effort that builds true expertise.
Even as AI advances, human experts remain essential to ask the right questions, understand context, make tradeoffs, and remain accountable.
