Solving Simulation is the Ultimate Key to Materials and Biology
_Stocko_ · x · 2026-08-03
The author argues that better simulation is the broadest open-world problem framework we currently have.
If we can completely solve simulation, we will be able to:
- Recreate biological processes
- Interact with new materials that don't exist yet
- Stress-test components to their limits
- Manufacture everything optimally
- Validate all things at a 10,000x scale
This represents the massive potential of an order-of-magnitude (OOM) leap in compute and engineering.
