Coldcard Hack Drains $88.6M in BTC, Sparks Concerns Over LLM Threats

A third wave of hacks targeting Coldcard-generated crypto addresses has been identified, with an estimated 1,367.05 BTC ($88.6m) drained across 4,585 addresses.
Commenting on the incident, a developer expressed concerns that LLMs might make such security endeavors impossible due to exponentially rising hack potential. They argued for shifting funds to systems requiring bio-verification for changes.
