The Term 'Singularity' Is Overused: Real Singularity Predicted for 2028

The author argues that the term "singularity" is now used so broadly that it has lost its meaning. Exponential change looks similar at every scale, making it difficult to pinpoint an exact historical rupture—whether it started 12,000 years ago, in the 1800s, or today.
When predicting the onset of the real singularity based on current trajectories, the author estimates it will occur in 2028 (±1 year).
