A research team including scientists from the University of Pennsylvania and Arc Institute published a new paper on bioRxiv titled "Integrative spatial profiling of 3D genome organization and gene expression in tissue."

The study introduces Spatial Hi-C-RNA, a technique capable of genome-wide co-mapping of chromatin conformation and the transcriptome at near-single-cell resolution. This provides a novel spatial profiling tool for understanding 3D genome organization and gene expression directly within tissues.
