yangyi · x · 2026-07-31
OpenConnector is an open-source authorization gateway designed to secure credentials when AI agents interact with external applications.
- Core Mechanism: Centrally manages passwords and OAuth tokens. Agents only receive account tags, metadata, and execution results, fundamentally preventing password leakage into the context.
- Ecosystem: Supports over 1,000 identity providers and 10,000+ applications.
- Deployment: Available on Cloudflare Workers, Node.js, Docker, alongside a SaaS offering named OOMOL.
The project has currently amassed nearly 4,000 stars on GitHub.
