Opinion: Unsupervised AI is the Key to Product Qualitative Shifts
robleclerc · x · 2026-07-31
The author discusses the importance of "unsupervised" capabilities in AI products. Using Tesla FSD as an example, he notes that even at 99.99% autonomy, requiring human attention prevents a massive sales breakthrough. Similarly, in the AI Agent space, if a model downgrades mid-run and requires babysitting, the experience suffers. Only fully unsupervised autonomous execution can bring a qualitative leap to AI products.
