Cai Haoyu's AI Companion App Shuts Down, Pivots to Independent LLM & Agent Dev
创业邦 · wechat · 2026-07-31
Anuttacon, the AI company founded by miHoYo creator Cai Haoyu, announced that its AI companion app AnuNeko will cease operations by the end of July 2026. The team decided to redirect resources to other projects due to limited scale.
Over the past year, Anuttacon explored AI interactive games, companions, and character performance models (LPM1.0), but faced commercialization and high token cost challenges. Cai recently updated his LinkedIn title to "Independent LLM + Agent Developer," marking a strategic pivot from application layers to underlying LLM and Agent capabilities.
