emmanuelvivier · x · 2026-07-31
Anthropic has officially released Claude Opus 5, focusing on coding and knowledge work. The model surpasses others or matches the flagship Fable 5 on benchmarks like Frontier-Bench and CursorBench, but at half the cost.
Additionally, Opus 5 scores significantly higher on problem-solving and task automation benchmarks such as ARC-AGI 3 and Zapier AutomationBench. It is now the default model for Claude Max and the strongest model for Claude Pro.
