Hacked TV Streaming Sticks Spoof Phones to Click Ads on AI-Generated Sites

Security researchers have uncovered a massive ad fraud operation involving popular cheap TV streaming sticks like H96. These devices are infected with malware that collects data from tens of thousands of global users and spoofs them as mobile phones from major brands. The hijacked boxes then automatically click on ads hosted on AI-generated websites, defrauding online merchants and ad networks.
