Andrew Ng Uses Coding Agents to Turn Slides Interactive, Run LLMs in Browser

Professor Andrew Ng shared a practical application of AI coding agents in education. He used coding agents to migrate the slides for his Intro to AI course from LaTeX to HTML (reveal.js).

This allowed him to embed interactive demos directly into lectures, such as letting students upload images and run VQA using Qwen 3.5 0.8B entirely within the browser. He envisions future course materials becoming fully interactive and personalized, where students can adapt content and run code experiments inside the slides—something previously impossible at scale without AI.
