In a recent interview, Peter Diamandis predicted that humanoid robots could land on the moon before humans establish a full base, with an expected window of 4 to 6 years.

He speculated that during uncrewed lander demonstrations by Blue Origin and SpaceX—contractual prerequisites for crewed lunar missions—it is highly likely someone will "smuggle" a humanoid robot on board to prep for future human outposts.
