The Loka team has post-trained Arcee AI's 26B open-source model, Trinity Mini, transforming it into an agentic harness specifically designed for scientific workflows.
In collaboration with PrimeIntellect and AWS, Loka successfully equipped the model to execute multi-step research workflows. The agent can coordinate tools, query databases, and maintain an auditable trail at every step, demonstrating the potential of customizing open-source models for specialized verticals.
