Stanford's Percy Liang: Simile Aims to Build a Foundation Model for Predicting Human Behavior

Stanford Professor Percy Liang shared insights into the vision of AI simulation startup Simile. He noted that Simile's ambition is to build a foundation model capable of predicting what anyone will do in any given situation.
He compared Simile's current stage in simulation to OpenAI in 2019 for AI assistants: showing signs of life and a path to scaling, though many open research questions remain. Commercially, Simile is already working with enterprise partners and is actively hiring.
