OpenMed Launches Preview of Local-First Clinical AI Agent
MaziyarPanahi · x · 2026-07-30
OpenMed has launched a preview of its terminal-native clinical AI agent (v0.2.0), designed for medical workflows requiring strict control. It is local-first with zero telemetry.
The agent handles tasks like reviewing denied prior auths, drafting appeals, coding, and record imports. It features inspectable runtime plans, explicit reviewer approval tokens, and an opt-in audit trail. By separating protected clinical service endpoints from the model provider path, it ensures sensitive processing remains secure and auditable.
