IROS 2026 Origami Challenge Dataset Released: 4.76M Frames of Tactile Data

In preparation for the IROS 2026 Robotic Origami Challenge, Sharpa Robotics released a large-scale, real-world teleoperation dataset for dexterous manipulation. Collected using their 22-DoF five-finger tactile hand, it records the bimanual process of folding paper airplanes.
Key highlights:
- Massive scale: 51 collection seasons and 682 episodes, totaling approximately 4.76 million frames at 30 FPS.
- Multimodal synchronization: Features 6 synchronized camera views (head and wrist) and 10-fingertip 6-axis force/torque signals aligned frame-by-frame with vision and motion.
- Compatibility: Formatted for LeRobot v3.0 / v2.1 with 65D joint space, suitable for imitation learning, visual-tactile representation learning, and long-horizon modeling.
