Adeptly: Open-Source Tool to Orchestrate Hidden Claude Code Features
Substantial-Fuel-519 · reddit · 2026-07-30
A developer open-sourced Adeptly, a free local tool (MIT) designed to help users unlock the remaining 85% of Claude Code's features (Plan mode, subagents, hooks, MCP, etc.).
- Core Function: It reads your project plans and automatically injects relevant Claude Code advanced features into the right spots with explanations, letting users learn by reviewing their own plans.
- New in v0.5 (The Crew): Upgrades from advising to actually executing workflows via a headless agent pipeline: Architect → Approval Gate → Builder → Medic (patches broken builds) → Reviewer → Security → Pilot (opens PR).
- Safety: Runs in dry-run mode by default; going live requires explicit plan approval and setting the ADEPTLYLIVE=1 environment variable to prevent accidental execution.
