A developer focused on the "system 1" agile motion control of humanoids shared an interesting insight regarding robot sizing. He highlighted a peer's claim that a robot the size of a Booster K1 could theoretically handle most household chores.
The industry's current preference for 5ft+ adult-sized humanoids mainly stems from their natural fit for standard counter heights. However, adult size isn't the only solution. If breakthroughs in agility allow robots to move as flexently as a 6-year-old (e.g., climbing onto a bed to fold laundry), smaller-sized robots could unlock massive potential.
