The research ingested 20M URLs, trained a proprietary embedding model, ran 47 regressions, and controlled for over 300 variables. The conclusion, however, was surprisingly simple: the top LLM-recommended brands merely share strong traditional search engine rankings, a Wikipedia page, and active discussion on Reddit.
