The author says they are switching from Codex to Claude Code to give Opus 5 a fair shot. They report that the newer Claude models feel much faster and more capable, with Fable 5 Low skipping many verification loops that earlier Claude 4.5-era behavior would have required. They claim the model let them get two days of work done while they played video games and plan to fully switch to Opus 5 as their main driver.
