A repost of a Semafor-related discussion says Anthropic may record marketplace revenue differently from peers: when a customer buys $1 of tokens through a cloud partner, OpenAI reportedly books only its 20-cent share as revenue, while Anthropic books the full $1. The thread also cites a striking revenue-per-employee comparison, with Anthropic said to be at least $13.5M per employee based on a May $47B annualized run rate, versus about $6M at NVIDIA and roughly $2.5M across big tech.
