LangChain has open-sourced OpenWiki on GitHub, quickly garnering 13.5k stars. It is a CLI tool designed specifically for AI agents to write and maintain wikis and persistent memory for codebases.
The tool can ingest local knowledge sources and Git repositories, synthesizing them into a local wiki. It supports 12 major LLM providers—including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, AWS Bedrock, and NVIDIA NIM. Users can easily log in using their existing ChatGPT subscriptions.
