Responsible AI and Human Rights summer school moves to Mexico with 39 participants

Mila_Quebec · x · 2026-07-29

The fourth annual Responsible AI and Human Rights summer school brought 39 participants to Mexico for the first time outside Montreal.

Over a week of intensive learning, attendees covered responsible AI, ethics and human rights, regulation and governance, children's rights, mental health, disability rights, and the climate impact of digital technologies. The event was organized with IVADO and CINVESTAV as partners.

The post is essentially a recap of an industry education program rather than a policy announcement, but its core focus is the intersection of AI governance and human rights.
