CIMC and Apart Research launch a San Francisco sprint on AI sentience and alignment

CIMC and Apart Research are teaming up for the Digital Minds Research Sprint, with an in-person San Francisco hub hosted at the CIMC offices from August 14 to 16.
The kickoff includes hackathon onboarding, team formation, networking, and featured talks from Plinz, matiroy, and hikasor. The sprint is framed around artificial sentience and AI alignment, and the organizers are inviting both in-person and global participation.
