OpenAI DevDay 2026 invite links appear to generate empty registration tokens
A Reddit user says they received an official invitation to OpenAI DevDay 2026 in San Francisco, but the registration flow is broken.
According to the post, the email’s Swoogo redirect ends at devday.openai.com/register?token= with an empty token parameter, and the page rejects the signup because a personalized link is required. The user says they tried multiple browsers, incognito mode, different devices, the original email, and Proton Mail tracker settings, but nothing worked.
They also checked the email HTML and found the fallback registration link already contains an empty token. The invitation expires on August 5, and support had not replied by July 25.
This is more of an event-ops issue than a product announcement, but it is still a concrete OpenAI company update worth tracking.
