Moonshot’s Kimi K3 goes live on Modal with $3 in, $15 out pricing

Moonshot’s Kimi K3 is now live on Modal. The quoted thread says the model is being positioned as the first open 3T-class model, with a shared API launch partner on day one.
The post highlights a claimed frontier-level capability at a very low price point — $3 in and $15 out per million tokens — and says the team pulled an all-nighter to reach about 460 tokens per second. Modal also says it built a custom DFlash speculator to speed up K3’s novel architecture without loss in quality.
