A 1976 Apple check surfaces in a reply to Elizabeth Holmes
The post shares a photo of an actual Apple Computer Company check dated July 29, 1976, made out to Elizabeth Holmes for $17.00 and signed by Steve Jobs. It is used as a rebuttal to the claim that the image was fake or impossible.
The main value here is the historical artifact itself: a rare early-Apple document that shows how small the company was in its fourth month of existence, and how quickly it ended up everywhere in Silicon Valley lore.
