songhan_mit · x · 2026-07-28
Kimi K3 is now live on Modal, with Modal calling it the world's first open 3T-class model.
Modal says it shipped as a day-zero launch partner and trained a custom DFlash speculator for K3's novel architecture, letting users run it faster without quality loss.
The post frames K3 as the most capable open model the team has worked with so far.
