Jensen Huang backs open-weight AI alliance for digital defense

Jensen Huang argues that defenders need a frontier AI ecosystem, not just closed models. In the Hugging Face incident, he says closed AI systems blocked essential forensics, while an open-weight frontier model helped contain the intrusion.
The post says this is why the Open Secure AI Alliance was created: to promote open-weight models as part of a safer digital defense stack and keep the U.S. from falling behind.
