A viral repost claims OpenAI is preparing to preview GPT-6 in Washington this week. The post says Sam Altman will brief officials on a model that can make original scientific discoveries, solve an 80-year-old math problem autonomously, run longer without supervision, and offer stronger cyber capabilities.
It also claims OpenAI will frame the launch around “knowledge per dollar” rather than benchmarks alone, and suggests the model may be tied to a recent Hugging Face incident. The image attached simply shows an OpenAI-style GPT-6 splash screen.
