Traditional SDLC vs. agentic SDLC
The post contrasts the classic software delivery loop with an agentic one. In the traditional model, humans do most of the planning, coding, testing, review, deployment, and iteration over weeks or months.
In the agentic model, agents take over much of the work: they help define goals, generate PRDs, design the system, implement code, run tests, deploy changes, and continuously monitor production signals. Humans still step in for governance and critical review.
The visual argues that the shift is not just “faster coding,” but a restructuring of the whole delivery stack around autonomous execution, feedback loops, and guardrails.
