Sakana AI adds a Claude Code-compatible interface to Fugu-Ultra v1.1
Sakana AI announced Fugu-Ultra v1.1 together with a Claude Code-compatible interface for the Fugu workflow.
The pitch is to move from a single-model coding assistant to a dynamically coordinated team of frontier models inside the terminal you already use. Instead of asking one model to write, debug, and execute code end to end, developers can orchestrate multiple state-of-the-art models as a pooled coding system.
The update is positioned as a way to “put the whole school to work” inside an existing coding workflow.
