Gary Marcus says ARC-AGI’s name makes people think it tests AGI itself

In reply to a discussion about ARC-AGI, Gary Marcus agrees that the benchmark’s name is misleading and can encourage people to treat it as an AGI test.
The point is not about a new model or benchmark result, but about terminology: well-informed people may keep arguing over what “AGI” even means while tests rise and fall around it.
