adariostrange · x · 2026-07-27
A MARS Magazine chart says the public is increasingly buying into the idea of a robot takeover. The chart compares 2022 with 2026 and shows a modest rise in three beliefs:
- Robots will develop higher intelligence in the future: 38.5% → 40.5%
- Robots will never surpass humans: 20.8% → 19.7%
- Most robots have already surpassed humans: 12.8% → 14.3%
The image uses a scene from I Am Mother and frames the shift as a sign that robot-takeover narratives are becoming more mainstream.
