Hugging Face researcher Arjun Raj challenges François Chollet’s view of intelligence as a bounded conversion ratio.
He argues that the gap between humans and mice shows intelligence can plausibly extend far beyond human levels, so the idea that there is little room above human intelligence seems unlikely. The quoted argument from Chollet says intelligence is not a simple unbounded scalar, but more like improving sphericality toward an optimality bound, where gains eventually become marginal.
