Solo developer ships a habit tracker with MCP chat controls and parallel Claude Code workflow
bogdanstefanjuk · reddit · 2026-07-26
A solo developer built Habit Pocket, a habit-and-metrics tracker with an MCP server that lets users log habits, query entries, create charts, and analyze correlations entirely through Claude.
The app supports yes/no habits, numeric metrics, time-of-day tracking, and custom select lists, with heatmap-style cells and charts for comparing any metric against another.
The author also shares a practical Claude Code workflow: prototype UI in static HTML first, then let Claude expand and iterate on it; run multiple Claude Code instances in parallel through Conductor to ship frontend work faster.
