Grok Build adds a `/deep-research` mode that cross-checks claims before writing the report
XFreeze · x · 2026-07-27
Grok Build’s /deep-research command runs a structured background research workflow instead of a single-pass answer.
- It plans a bounded set of questions around the topic.
- It gathers claims with source evidence and verifies each claim through an independent checker.
- Only claims that survive verification are kept, with source locators attached.
- Anything unresolved is surfaced as a coverage gap, and the report is marked Partial when needed.
The pitch is simple: don’t get a confident-sounding essay; get a filtered research report whose surviving claims have already passed a second check.
