June co-founder Matt Van Horn, despite not being classically trained, is a highly productive engineer. He shared his unique AI coding workflow:
- No Code Reading: He doesn't even have an IDE installed, fundamentally believing humans should never write or read code manually again.
- Plan-Driven: Every project starts with the agent writing a plan.md file. He argues agents are inherently lazy, so the plan keeps them honest. He never reads the plans himself, fully trusting the AI's execution.
