Claude shared conversations appear to be indexed by search engines, not just Google but also Brave Search, suggesting the issue is still unpatched.
The thread warns that links created via Claude’s share feature, meant to be accessible only to people with the link, can effectively be discovered publicly through search. The examples cited include API keys, credentials, crypto wallets, resumes with personal data, legal notes, internal project details, and possible social security numbers.
