Aethos_Memory is an open-source memory bank for coding assistants across sessions
Longjumping-Koala396 · reddit · 2026-07-26
An open-source project called AethosMemory aims to give coding assistants a persistent, cross-tool memory bank so they do not forget context between sessions.
The repo targets tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, OpenCode, and Codex, and says it is powered by FastMCP plus Gemini embeddings. The idea is to provide a shared memory layer for AI dev tools rather than forcing each assistant to start from scratch every time.
