Claude-video turns any YouTube or TikTok link into frames, transcripts, and captions
dr_cintas · x · 2026-07-26
A new GitHub project, bradautomates/claude-video, gives Claude the ability to inspect videos end to end by downloading them, extracting frames, transcribing audio, and reading the result through a single command.
The author says it works with YouTube, Loom, TikTok, and local files supported by yt-dlp, and users are applying it to:
- analyze competitor launches for hooks, visuals, and structure
- debug from screen recordings
- read videos as a source of free captions and context
