ComfyUI Wan 2.2 user seeks a way to keep one character consistent after leaving frame
SnooMacaroons1365 · reddit · 2026-07-26
A user is trying to keep the same character consistent when she leaves and re-enters the frame in a Wan 2.2 video workflow built with ComfyUI.
They describe a setup with Wan 2.2 Hi/Lo noise 14B, a Flux-trained LoRA, WanContinuation Condition nodes, and Hi/Lo K-Samplers. The problem: as soon as the face leaves the frame, the model brings in a different woman when the character returns. The user has already tested Stand-In and Vace, but neither preserves identity the way they want. They’re now looking for an IP-Adapter-like way to inject face reference into the sampler and keep identity across out-of-frame motion.
