Martin Tobias argues that seed today has become what Series A used to be: all funding stages have moved up.
He points to his own Docusign Series A in 2003 as a $4M round and says that would be considered pre-seed today, echoing the claim that roughly 1 in 10 seed rounds are now $10M+.
