Claude Code 2.1.217 drops the Project-view “Last Activity” filter in a UI regression
Remenua · ghdev · 2026-07-23
A GitHub issue reports a regression in Anthropic’s Claude Code after the bundled engine auto-updated from 2.1.209 to 2.1.217.
- The “Last Activity” / activity-days filter disappeared from the session sidebar when grouping by Project.
- The filter still works in State grouping, so this appears to be a UI regression rather than a backend change.
- The reporter says the missing filter makes Project grouping impractical for heavy users with dozens of projects, because it is the only quick way to narrow the sidebar to recently active work.
