Fieldwork Robotics says its Fieldworker 1 platform can autonomously harvest raspberries at speeds comparable to human workers.

Berry picking is a difficult robotics problem: the system must detect ripeness, avoid damaging fragile fruit, and keep working in a changing outdoor environment.
The robot uses custom AI systems and spectral analysis to judge ripeness.
One operator is designed to supervise multiple robots in the field.
Fieldwork is already trialing the system with Costa Group, one of Australia’s largest fruit growers.
