Claude Desktop crashes right after a Cloudflare Turnstile check on Windows
An issue in anthropics/claude-code reports that Claude Desktop on Windows 11 crashes on a clean install right after the Cloudflare Turnstile challenge finishes during claude.ai login.
- App version: 1.24012.1 from the Microsoft Store
- Hardware: hybrid Intel/NVIDIA Windows laptop
- The crash writes a Crashpad minidump under %APPDATA%\Claude\Crashpad\reports\.dmp
- Logs show the app failing navigation to https://claude.ai/epitaxy, then detecting the Turnstile iframe before the crash
