Laguna S 2.1 says users want open source, simpler agentic coding stacks
max_paperclips · x · 2026-07-25
Jason Warner says the first three days of Laguna S 2.1 suggest three things: users strongly want American open source, they are eager to replace brittle homegrown agentic coding stacks with a deep-thinking software model/harness, and they want to understand how Laguna was built. The team says the Discord has been active and they have already shipped several fixes and updates based on early issues.
A quoted note adds that Laguna is now the #2 model on Hugging Face.
