A developer built an MCP server that drives Google Flow and batches Veo clips

A Reddit user built an MCP server, google-flow-mcp, to drive Google Flow/Veo through its undocumented internal tRPC API and avoid manually babysitting the UI.
The post says the tool is especially useful for:
- Batch B-roll generation: Flow renders clips concurrently, so sending 8 requests can take about as long as 1.
- Free still iteration: generate compositions as stills for free, then animate the approved frame.
- Budget control: the server reads quoted prices before approval and rejects runs that exceed a ceiling.
- Vertical video: Veo 3.1 supports native 9:16 output.
It also notes what the tool is not: no editing, no voiceover, no text overlays, no transitions. For the rest of the workflow, the author suggests free tooling like ffmpeg, DaVinci Resolve, faster-whisper, Piper/edge-tts, and RIFE.
